re your letter ref cfr:3065009 the reason I stopped payment to Alice is because in August I went for a short holiday and when I returned on the 29th of august I was without internet and telephone so I went to my neighbours (3kilometers away) and telephoned technical assistance at Alice and they told me it would be repaired by the following thursday.
Thursday came but still no phone so I went to my neighbours again to telephone and was told 48 hours maximum but still no repairs .
This went on for a period of weeks promises but no action , when I wanted to use the internet I had to go to Macdonalds (16 kilometers away) and buy
some thing to eat so that I could use their Wifi and if I wanted to telephone I had to go to my neighbours again which I found embarrassing and inconvenient.
I came to the conclusion that I was paying Alice for a service I was not getting and so I stopped payment to them .
I was 2 months without telephone and without internet but Alice still wanted me to pay them !!!!!!!for what ? if I get good service I pay as with any business but when the service is bad or there is no service atall then I do not want to have their services.
Alice last took money from my bank account on the 9th august and I went to the bank to stop any more payments being made .
Since this has happened I have talked to other people who have had the same problems and still alice have been taking money from their accounts.
